Amalie and Misty:
Amalie, just 2 and 1/2 years old, has her first riding lesson.
She is riding Misty who has been a family pony, star show-jumper, eventer and
general all-rounder for many years. For the last 4 years, she has been clicker
trained by Marte (Amalie's mother). Her clicker training has been intermittent
and limited due to Marte being productive in other ways (Amalie and her 6 month
old brother)! Nevertheless she shows that she has learned well.
The lesson started with grooming and tacking up
And continues with flatwork
Finally, on to the 'jumping' part of the lesson.
